The following is a list of people that we all know who failed before they succeeded.
I cannot emphasize enough that you need to continue to try over and over until you succeed and realize that, as I’ve said before, “Each failure is a stepping stone to Success, which in turn will become a very long and lovely stone walkway into the castle of your DREAMS!”
FAILURES…BUT NOT QUITE
–After Fred Astaire’s first screen test, a 1933 memo from the MGM testing director said, “Can’t act. Slightly bald. Can dance a little.” Astaire kept that memo over the fireplace in his Beverly Hills home.
–A relatively unsuccessful marketer of restaurant equipment, he didn’t sell his first hamburger until age 52. At a time when many people prepare for retirement, Ray Kroc built McDonald’s from a handful of hamburger stands into the world’s largest food chain.
–When his older brother was killed during WWII, he first withdrew into a shell. Then he began to listen to the radio to ease his pain. Soon he was dreaming about hosting his own radio show. That led Dick Clark to start American Bandstand.
–Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper for lacking ideas. He also went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland.
The question that I have for you now is, “Do you realize how you must be proud of your failures because they really are successes?”
Many of my workshop attendees have heard me say “…experience is what you receive when you do not achieve what you desire.”
I suggest to print this out and put it on your desk where you can read this article every day and remind yourself about Fred Astaire, Ray Kroc, Dick Clark, and Walt Disney and say to yourself, “What is MY story going to be?”
You need to fail in order to ultimately succeed in LIFE! After all, “IN SUCCESS LANGUAGE, FAILURE MEANS YOU ARE “ALMOST THERE!”

When it comes to the internet and the advancements of modern technology, the revenue generating options are truly unlimited. One way that many people are finding great success as entrepreneurs is through the use of their digital cameras and photo printers.
Whether you use your digital knowledge to enter photo contests using images taken with your digital camera or choose to start an online auction business, the use of a both camera and photo printer are essential.
With entrepreneurship in mind, the following five tips may help to get you started on the road to success using nothing more than your digital camera and photo printer.
1) Start an eBay business and use your digital camera to take pictures for inclusion in your auctions. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much money will it be worth for your auction? After all, would you buy something without seeing it?
- Become an amateur photographer using your digital camera and print out the images using a realistic photo printer, which can use either black or color ink.
- Create personalized calendars by taking a photo with your digital camera, incorporating it into a calendar creation program and print them out using a photo printer. These are extremely popular at craft shows and flea markets.
- Take photos using your digital camera and incorporate them into a program that manipulates photos. You can even take two photos and merge them together. For instance, take a photo of two sunflowers and another of your two best friends. Download the images from your digital camera onto the computer and manipulate them so that the faces of your two best friends are inside of the sunflowers. Print this photo using your photo printer and use it as an example of your new digital imagery business. These, too, are extremely popular at craft shows.
- Using nothing more than a digital camera and quality photo printer, you can work in the publishing industry. Several years ago, a national magazine cover featuring a well-known celebrity was created with nothing more than a personal photo printer. The magazine office was unable to make an e-mailed image work, so they enlisted the help of a writer who enlarged the photo and printed it out using a color photo printer. The print was then mailed to the magazine’s office, who then used the image as their full-color cover picture.
When purchasing any type of electronics, including digital cameras and photo printers, always pay close attention to the warranty and make sure that you are buying a quality name in technology.
Depending on your intended use, you may want to select a digital camera with a high pixel count and a photo printer capable of producing high DPI (dots per inch) images. Both will allow for better quality and more realistic photo creations.

One of the main problems that deter a person’s success is their lack of concentration.
Lapses encourage disturbances to get in the way and stall progress. If ones wishes to proceed on their road to success, it is imperative they learn how to concentrate. Here, we show you some easy to learn exercises that are easy to implement.
1) Silence or Noise:
Most people cannot concentrate when it is too noisy, but others work better with music or others in the midst of a crowded room.
If you are not aware as yet what best suits you, then try out the different environments. How? Take a notepad and a pencil or pen with you and try and write down a letter in all the three circumstances in a set amount of time. Ten minutes.
That is all you will need to determine where your source of concentration lies. How? Check not only for length but also for development as that is more important.
2) Focal Point:
Every morning, before you leave for work or on the way, stare at any object for ten minutes. You can do this while in the toilet, car or bus. You will find this difficult, but whatever happens, do not move your gaze away.
Hold it. Wait. And then, as the minutes pass you will find yourself deeply meditating about things that happened to you yesterday or challenges you have to face in a few minutes.
Congratulations. You have just conquered the art of meditation.
3) Deep Breathing:
In the beginning, you can do this while staring at the object from tip number two, but if you wish to move towards real concentration, do this separetly. Sit down on the floor. If its hard, place a cushion. Close your eyes.
Breathe. Count the number of inhales. When you have reached 100, start counting backwards but this time count the exhales.
Mastering this will take you a while, but once you do move on to other kinds of mathemathical calculations such as naming the months of the year from December backwards or alphabetically. After that, make up exercises as you like.
4) Movement:
Focus on an animal: cat, dog or even ant or bird. Follow their every movement as if they exist in a vaccumm. Study every tiny spot on their body. The point of this is to learn how to diversify your concentration in such a way that movement does not deter you from your goal.
Practice the above four tips and like magic, you will start enjoying life to its fullest because you will be able to focus on the things you want to focus on and disregard those that disrupt.
Practive the above tips daily and you will be that much more closer to achieving your dreams and goals.
Best of Luck!

Freelance writing can be one of the most rewarding home based businesses ever and the benefits are many.
You can stay at home with your kids, and even if you are homeschooling you can freelance part time and homeschool the other part of the day.
=> How to retire early!
Becoming a freelance writer does not have to be hard. It’s a matter of deciding what subject matter will be your specialty and keeping up to date on that topic with the latest information available whether that is a blog or forum or even subscribing to a particular print or trade magazine.
For all practical purposes you have to become the expert in that field. Freelancing and specializing on a particular topic can make you well known in your community and you can get requests to speak at certain civic organizations, schools and other special events
You need to decide who you clients are going to be and whether you will farm your services out to newspapers and online publications, start your own publication, or do both.
=> How to retire early!
The sky is truly the limit as freelance writing is one of the most flexible home based businesses you can undertake. Another option you may want to choose is to write advertising or pamphlets for local businesses as a copywriter.
Becoming familiar with the advertising field in addition to the writing professional would be helpful in that you will gain a better understanding of how advertising copy is worded and other little nuances that are indicative of that field.
If you think you need to bone up on your writing skills or you feel you did not do well in high school English. Don’t fear.
There are plenty home and online correspondence courses that will have you writing like a pro in no time at all. Also you may want to checkout any extension courses offered at your local community college in your own town.
There are a number of online opportunities available to freelance writers. New websites are popping up every day and if you have web designing skills in addition to writing skills, you can write you own ticket.
=> How to retire early!
There are so many local businesses that do not have websites yet, nor do they have the expertise of a writer. You could offer them a valuable service by providing both a basic website and the written copy for the pages.
Overall freelance writing can be a very profitable field and with a little imagination you can have a new career started from your very own kitchen in very little time at all.

Consumers in search of that perfect piece of art often find themselves lost in a tangle of webs created by less than helpful gallery curators, bidding wars, and issues stemming from exhibit proximity and lack of time.
Shopping for accents to complement your home décor should be a pleasant experience, one which you look forward to and that expands your creativity.
=> Learn cartoon drawing!
While attending a gallery exhibition definitely has its benefits the hors d’oeuvres, conversation and cocktails the draw of the crowd can often be overwhelming.
We are not saying you need to succumb to the perils of dealing with large retail chains, which stock over-produced re-prints cased behind plastic frames.
And purchasing your art in the same place you go to buy your milk is definitely out of the question.
So, what do you do when you want designer décor but don’t want to leave the house to find it?
You may be mistaken in thinking that buying a piece of abstract art would be a simple thing to do. You just select the work you want… and buy it!
=> Learn cartoon drawing!
The truth will creep up on you as soon as you look at the first painting “it is not quite the right one, so I will look for another”.
Here is the first realization – and question to ask yourself – why exactly is this piece you are looking at “not quite right”? The answer can be manifold:
1. It includes a colour I do not like
2. I am not sure it will go with another item in the space I would like to place it
3. A slow realization that a certain personal undesirable association is being emitted from the painting
4. It looks great but I am not sure it will fit the space
5. It is just right but the price is a little bit more than I wanted to pay… and the list goes on.
Although I do not have all the answers I will endeavour to reveal, from my own personal experiences, a few solutions.
So, you see a picture you like but the colour combination is wrong.
Put simply the thing to do is to contact the artist and tell them your dilemma. You will find that some of them will either be able to reproduce a similar work in the colours you prefer, or they will be willing to notify you when and if they produce a work that might be nearer to the colours theat you require.
If size is an issue then I would advise the same as above – contact the artist and tell them the problem. I believe you will receive a similar reply to that which I have written above.
Make sure that when you do make a purchase that the artist is offering a return policy. I have a ten day return policy which means that if you buy a painting and hang it in your space – if within ten days of purchasing it you become uncomfortable with it for any reason and you cannot live with it, then you may return the piece and your money will be returned.
An important point here worth mentioning is the fact that you have made certain decisions on buying this piece of work, therefore it is worthwhile mentioning it to the artist which will enable them, if they so inclined, to produce a work that has omitted the undesirable entity.
This way you may well end up with a work that will be of greater value to you – having communicated your dilemma.
Price can be a tricky challenge – but many artists offer different ways to help you buy the piece you want. If, for instance, the piece you like is too expensive for you then you have a number of choices.
Perhaps the most preferable choice is for you to negotiate the price with the artist. However, please bear in mind that the artist has produced a totally unique painting – there is nothing like it in all the world! Also spare a thought for the fact that the artist will have spent time struggling to get the work out onto the canvas.
A well known saying is that a piece may well have taken only a few hours to produce, but you should also take into account the years the artist has been at work – so if someone says to me “it can only have taken you three hours at the most” I reply “no… it has taken me FORTY YEARS and three hours!”
If you keep these in mind then negotiate with what you might see as a realistic price for you and a price that will have taken the above into account for the artist.
Some artists will not barter prices – but they may be willing to sell you the work if you pay by installments. You have to ask yourself here “Do I REALLY want this piece?” If you answer yes then you will find the money… because you want to – you want the work.
Let us say that you see an artists work – you love the style – you would very much like to have a painting on your wall… but you see nothing that grabs you.
Try contacting the artists and commissioning them to painting you a picture… this way you may be able to influence the end result by instructing the artist to use certain colours, or specific shapes.
Or if they are not inclined to work that way then they might put you on their mailing list that will inform you when their latest piece is about to go on show – you will be offered “first refusal”.
One final thing worth mentioning is the fact that a growing number of artists are making their works available as high quality giclee prints.
These reproductions are very close to the original work, and some of the reproduction houses actually ensure that every brush stroke has the appropriate texture and “feel”.
So in many ways you could purchase a work that is almost identical to the original piece except for one very big fact – the price of the print.
The print will be of a limited edition, making it a collectible investment – and it will have been checked, numbered, and signed by the artist.
If none of the above proves to be useful to you then the simplest thing to do is contact the artist and just talk to them, tell them what you think of their work, what you are looking for – anything… just communicate with them, and I think you will find that you will not only buy yourself something that you will love and cherish … but you will also bond with the artist themself in a way that you could never do if you walked into a place selling paintings and chose a piece hanging on a wall.

Get acquainted with a practical guide on the easiest games that you can play online. And once you read this article, you will find that you have at least stopped losing all your money.
If you follow the advice well and to the dot, you will also learn how to start winning cash from other players or by beating the casino. Sounds interesting? It is.
=> Play Free Online Games Now!
Note that the games you must look out for are those where the house edge is very low.
If these are hard to find at the casino you have entered, look for those games that depend more on skill than on luck. Some of these include blackjack and poker.
The games to avoid because they depend solely on luck are any of the slot machine games such as Caribbean Stud or the regular or progressive slot jackpots. These rely only on luck and the house edge there is against you.
What is a House Edge?
Since the casinos and betting establishments are in it for making money, they have created an artificial method to gain leverage over the players. This is what they have termed house edge.
What it means is that over and above what you win, the casinos deduct a certain amount for themselves. It is something like insurance but only for them and not for you.
But the casinos do not actually do this. Instead, they have inserted these odds into the game winnings so that you do not notice it. When you win, you are paid according to the newly calculated odds and you are no wiser.
For instance, if you walk over to a casino and place a bet of ten dollars on a roulette table. (For arguments sake, let us also suppose it was an American roulette table.)
If you win, you should be given three hundred and seventy dollars because the true odds is thirty-seven to one. Instead, you will only get three hundred and fifty dollars according to the odds of thirty-five to one.
This is what I was referring to in the previous paragraph. What has happened is that you have lost twenty dollars to the casino as part of the house edge.
Playing Poker:
Pick and play this exceptional game because ,here, you are not competing against the house at all. It is other players like you who you are up against. Do battle against them and defeat them for cash. No house edge comes in the way here, but you do pay a small part of the money you win to the casino as a commission.
This winning commission is called rake, and its so minute that you do not feel it pinch your pocket.
In addition, this is one of the best games to play if you are good at it and if you have razor-sharp skills. You will be able to mint money like crazy if you can read other expressions and count the cards well.
Playing Blackjack:
This is one of those games that the casino does not like you playing. If it was up to the betting establishments, they would remove these tables altogether. Why? Because the edge for them is only a half percent!
Thus, is you play well by remembering that you have to beat the dealer and not reach 21, you stand a big chance of accumulating a large sum. I also suggest you brush up on your mathematical skills.
If you wish, learn how to count cards, but be careful. Because card counting works, casinos have banned it. All you have to do is count the colored cards (the cards that are ten and above).
Then, it will be easier to decide which bet to make and which not to make. Practice again and again at home because you not only have to master this skill but you also have to learn to do it silently so that the casinos do not catch on.
Video Poker:
This is a game very much like one of the many regular and progressive slot machines games you will run into at a casino, but it is different. Unlike slots, skill plays a big part in the results, and thus you have a bigger chance of winning than at one of the slot machines.
But, before you begin, glance at the payment structure pasted on the machine. You should make your gaming decisions based on the house odds and payment structures of the machine.

Some people think that if you want to change the world you don’t become a bass player, but go into something more challenging and stimulating like the Post Office.
But does this myth portray how bass players really are? Let’s step back from our habitual way of seeing bass guitar players as necessary but boring members of the group.
=> Click here for more info!
Like accountants. Sure we acknowledge the fine contribution they make to their bands by supplying the bass lines and paying for the beer, but do they actually do anything really creative?
This brief listing of some prominent men (and woman) of bass guitar players will allow you to see that this apparently self effacing member of a musical group could be the creative powerhouse.
Let’s start with the leather jacketed but overpoweringly feminine Suzi Quatro. A vocalist and bass player who had a bunch of hits in Australia and Europe in the early seventies, her popularity in the USA stemmed from her role as Leather Tuscadero in Happy Days.
John Entwistle pioneered the use of the electric bass guitar as an instrument for soloists. His aggressive approach to the bass guitar influenced many other bassists.
Flea of The Red Hot Chili Peppers impressed a lot of musicians with his popping and slapping technique which was originally invented by Larry Graham of Sly And The Family Stone.
Flea’s innovative use of effects pedals has also influenced many bass players.
Jack Bruce wrote most of supergroup Cream’s hit songs. Among his other achievements are fighting constantly with Cream’s drummer, Ginger Baker and surviving a liver transplant.
Greg Lake is another artist of the early seventies who played with a number of innovators from the glam rock era.
Lake is best known for his vocals, bass and guitar work with Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
Rob Bailey is a bassist who plays loud and aggressive. His bass playing is an important element in the music of AC/DC.
Benny Rietveld, a Dutch musician who went to college in Hawaii, is admired for his musical and individualistic style of playing. He worked with Barney Kessell, Sheila E, Huey Lewis and Miles Davis.
He has also made an album featuring Carlos Santana. Talk about diverse.
Paul McCartney played bass with The Beatles. Many bass players say he’s quite good, but he changed the world with his romantic song lyrics.
Considered by some to be the king of bass players, Stanley Clarke employs a variation of the pop and slap technique to produce some truly innovative bass guitar music. His 1976 album, School Days, is acclaimed by many critics as one of the greatest bass albums ever.
A true bass lead guitar player, Billy Sheehan has won Guitar Player Magazine’s “Best Rock Bass Player” readers’ poll five times. Why a “bass lead guitar player”? Because Billy plays bass as if he were playing lead.
So if you are not familiar with bass guitar players I hope this article has whetted your appetite. Why not spend your next rainy Sunday watching some of their work on YouTube?

Simply put, anime is a form of cartoon animation created in Japan, which explains animes formerly-popular moniker, Japanimation.
Anime’s history began at the start of the 20th century. This was when Japanese filmmakers began trying out new animation techniques that were being used in the Western world.
Anime did not reach mainstream status until the 1980s, and since then it has blown up not only in Japan, but around the globe.
Part of the draw that anime possesses is the fact that they can target wide ranges of viewers. This is due to the fact that animes are not confined to one category, but run the entire gamut of genres, including action, sci-fi, drama, romance, horror, and yes, even erotica.
Many animes do not limit themselves to one particular genre and mix genres together.
Animation itself allows anime creators to convey just about any storyline they desire. It is much easier to make a cartoon about large robots featuring huge action and destruction sequences than it is to produce a live-action film including the same things.
With recent advances in CGI animators have even more power to transfer their wildest imaginations on to a screen. Storylines, characters, and settings are limited only to what creators can conjure up in their minds.
Though animes seem to be simple cartoons on the surface, many of them have deeper storylines and character development. This may be conveyed through the use of character-based flashbacks, which portray part of a character’s past to the viewer, allowing them to understand why they act a certain way or say the things they say.
Juvenile humor may be thrown in sporadically in drama-based animes, but do not be surprised if you see poignant and profound character development in humor-based animes as well.
Needless to say, not all animes are just cartoons for kids. In fact, the majority of animes feature violence, sexual innuendos, and language that may not be suitable for children.
This is likely a major reason why anime’s popularity has exploded in the past few years across the world. With animes, cartoons are no longer just for kids, and even adults can find themes of romance and drama that they might otherwise find only in real-life television shows.
The unique blend of animated characters with more mature themes is undoubtedly an enticing combination for adult-viewers.
Most anime series find their foundations in manga, or Japanese comics. These mangas are usually a few episodes ahead of the actual television series and have become popular among international audiences as well.
When animes are released in theaters, on television, or on DVDs in countries outside of Japan, distributors must decide whether they want to use subtitles or dubbed voices. There are pros to both sides of the issue, and there are strong proponents of both.
Some viewers enjoy watching their anime without having to read words on the bottom of the screen, which they say take away from the visual pleasures of the anime. Others prefer to hear the original voice acting and enjoy reading the more literal translations. DVDs offer both sides a satisfying medium, as they allow for either subtitles or English voice tracks.
Now that you know the basics of anime and its history, it is time to find the right animes for you. There are countless resources on the Internet that give recommendations and reviews of numerous anime series, many of which are readily available on DVD and even on television stations. Pick a genre, read up on reviews and summaries of shows that you are interested in, and enjoy.

The room you are in is filled with Angels!
The next room you go to will be filled with Angels and Angels will be at your side with every step you take today. The Angels are with us and are eager to help us.
Angels are truly universal. The Pew Foundation reported that 72% of Americans believe in Angels. This is a much higher percentage than Americans who believe in any world religion, because Angels are fundamental to most of the world’s major religions.
We find them in Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Mormonism and many other spiritual traditions.
St. Augustine, an authority on Angels, said, “Make friends with Angels.” He recommended that we make personal relationships with Angels and that we let our relationships with them deepen – much as we would with any important, intimate relationship.
Asking an Angel for help is one of our most powerful spiritual practices. We can ask the Angels for immediate help at any time and in any place. Here are some techniques that will help you:
1) Ask for help – Angels offer us help 24/7.
The more receptive we are, the more help they can give us. If you diminish your receptivity you limit the Angels ability to help you. Create your own invocations, or prayers, that specifically call for the help you need.
Realize that when you call upon an Angel, what really happens is that you open yourself into greater receptivity to their assistance. (See the Angel Messages at www.AskAnAngel.org for examples of invocations.)
When asking for help, it’s important to realize yourself as fully worthy of Angelic assistance. Angels work with everyone regardless of personal histories and beliefs.
Angels are infinite and omnipresent – your request does not diminish them in anyway nor does it affect their ability to help the rest of us at the same time. They exist beyond our experience of time and space and respond to everyone with complete unconditional love.
2) Connect with your inner divine child as you call upon the Angels and ask for help.
Your inner divine child is whole, innocent and true and recognizes Angels as trustworthy gifts of Creator. This will help create openness, receptivity, excitement, eagerness and wonder as you prepare to receive the gift your Angels have prepared for you.
3) Hand everything over to the Angels when you ask for their help: every issue, problem, worry and fear as well as every good intention and positive outcome you imagine as the result of your request.
Release all expectations of how your request will be answered.
4) Express Appreciation and Gratitude – Find and express genuine appreciation and gratitude for things exactly as they are.
If you are struggling with this, ask the Angels to help you to find the love that is present in whatever difficulty you are facing. Have patience with this and let go of any expectation of how this love may be revealed to you.
5) Know that it is done – Every request is answered and help is always given.
If you fear that your request will not be answered, then also ask for help in understanding.
Trust that you will see the love in every answered prayer. You are known completely and loved unconditionally by the Angels and nothing that will serve you is ever withheld from you.
6) Act quickly on the guidance you receive.
Accept the opportunity and act upon it immediately. Angelic help is infinite and unlimited – you can not use it up or run out of it. You cannot ask for “too much” and the Angels are joyously happy to give to you without limit. The faster you act, the faster you receive more assistance!
7) Celebrate yourself exactly as you are in the moment.
Leave any critical judgments or negative feelings about yourself, your life, or others in the hands of the Angels for healing.
Even if it is just for a few moments, let go of everything that is not of love for yourself and everything around you. In this moment of surrender much more can done for you by the Angels than you can accomplish on your own.
Thank yourself and the Angels for deepening the relationship between you.

You have the power to train your mind to choose what you think, instead of allowing random thoughts to hold you hostage. Your goal is to become inner-directed and focused, so that you decide what you want to think, rather than have your thoughts and emotions determined by the world around you.
The untrained mind has more emotional ups and downs because it is reacting to random thoughts. Focus on what you want with joy and enthusiasm.
Remember, just like the Earth, your brain does not discern what you plant. It will work just as hard to grow weeds as it will to grow beautiful flowers. You determine the seeds that are planted by what you say to yourself over and over.
Quite simply, you are a self-fulfilling prophecy because your subconscious mind does not know the difference between factual reality and imagined reality. If you focus on what you say you don’t want, then you will create that as the dominate request in your experience.
So, keep focused on what you do want. Define yourself as the new person you chose to be. (Example: I am a perfect weight for my body and lifestyle.)
If you are still looking to lose weight, you may want to say something like: I am allowing my body to obtain its perfect balance for health and vitality. Many of your beliefs have no foundation of truth, so instead of promoting your purpose, they hold you back from success.
If you think you are destined to be overweight, below average, poor, unlucky in love, clumsy, or even “not good at something,” you will take actions that make these thoughts become reality. None of these thoughts are actually true, but thinking them creates beliefs and images in your mind that reinforce these negative statements until they actually become true for you.
Be aware of the directions you give your brain. Your internal dialogue, along with what you believe about situations, is how you create your emotions.
Negative self-talk messages will cause you to give up before you even try something new. Always be aware that your words can make ominous predictions. If you say about your habit, “I’ll never be able to stop this; I’ve been doing it so long.”
You are programming yourself to believe that you are too weak and powerless to overcome the habit. These negative permissions clutter up your ability to change your behaviors. Pay attention to yourself when you hear yourself uttering negative permissions and negative reinforcements.
Avoid negative self-talk: “I can’t do this. I don’t understand. I’ll look stupid. I’m too old to learn new skills. They make me feel stupid. That’s just the way I am. There’s nothing I can do. No one in my family can do it, so I know I cannot.”
Change your self-talk to positive reinforcement for changing old behaviors (habits). A positive outlook creates more options for creative solutions. Remember, focus on what you want. Keep it simple and sure.
