<p>The first Yoga breathing exercise we will explore lies at the heart of Kundalini Yoga practice, it is the  legendary Breath of Fire Yoga Pranayama.</p>
<p><strong>Benefits of Breath of Fire Kundalini Yoga Pranayama:</strong></p>
<p><em>Primary:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Quickly oxygenates your blood, thus helping the body detoxify itself and remove waste more effectively.</li>
<li>Builds lung capacity and helps purify the respiratory system.</li>
<li>Generates heat and increases your level of energy by activating the energy flows in your body.</li>
<li>Syncronizes your entire system under one rhythm, thus promoting greater internal harmony and health.</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Secondary:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Balances and strengthens the Nervous System.</li>
<li>Magnifies the benefits of exercises done in conjunction with this breath.</li>
<li>When done forcefully, the pulsating of the diaphragm massages the internal organs, thus improving the digestive system.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Cautions for Practicing Breath of Fire Kundalini Yoga Pranayama:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>If you feel dizzy when practicing Breath of Fire, you should stop and substitute normal breathing.  If you suffer from vertigo, you should use caution in practicing this breathing exercise.</li>
<li>If you are menstruating you should not practice Breath of Fire, use Long Deep Breathing instead.</li>
<li>You should be careful practicing Breath of Fire if you have high blood pressure, heart disease or suffer from stroke or epilepsy.  Also, if you have acid or heat related gastric issues such as ulcers you should use caution.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>How To Do Basic Breath of Fire Kundalini Yoga Pranayama:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To practice this breathing exercise sit up in a comfortable position.</li>
<li>Elongate your spine upwards, lengthen your neck and subtly bring your chin back and in like a soldier at attention.  This will align the spine with the back of your head.</li>
<li>Close your eyes.</li>
<li>Rest your hands in any comfortable position.</li>
<li>Relax your stomach muscles.</li>
<li>Now begin to breathe rapidly through the nose with equal emphasis on the inhalation and exhalation.  It will be like very fast sniffing.  Keep the breath shallow, just at the tip of the nose.  Proceed at a comfortable pace and establish a steady rhythm.  Pay no special attention to the chest or diaphragm other that staying relaxed.  You will find the stomach pulses on its own in rhythm to the breath.</li>

<p>Water yoga is low impact and gentle on the muscles and joints, making it perfect for the elderly, pregnant women and people with injuries or chronic conditions. Additionally, the buoyancy of the water cushions falls and makes certain postures, like handstands, safer than on land. With a little creativity, almost any land asana will translate to water. However, there are some poses that lend themselves to water already.</p>

<p><strong>Floating Forward Bend</strong></p>
<p>In shallow water, hold on to the edge of the pool and place the soles of the feet against the side of the pool, with your knees bent. Slowly straighten your legs and rest your torso on your thighs. Hold the pose for 10 seconds. Repeat three times.</p>
<p><strong>Wall Cobra</strong></p>
<p>Stand in chest-deep water approximately one foot from the edge of the pool. Lean forward until your navel touches the wall of the pool. Arch your back and hold the pose for 10 seconds. Repeat three times.</p>
<p><strong>Floating Boat Pose</strong></p>
<p>Float on your back in the shallow end of the pool. Engage your abs, point your toes and hinge at the hips so that your toes and head are both out of the water. Extend your arms toward your toes and hold the pose for 10 seconds. Repeat three times.</p>
<p><strong>Floating Half Bow Pose</strong></p>
<p>Float on your back in the shallow end of the pool. Extend your right arm overhead and bend your left leg into the water. Grab your left ankle with your left hand, engage your abs and open your chest. If you begin to roll to the right, extend your right arm sideways to stabilize. Hold the pose for 10 seconds and alternate to the other leg. Repeat three times on each leg.</p>

<pre>How many of us walk through life wondering what our
purpose is? How many of us look in a mirror and wonder who
we are and what we want out of life? Why is it that we do
so? How many times have you said, “I would like to
purchase that” or “I want to go there.” But who is “I”? Do
you really know yourself? Zen is the process of knowing
who you truly are. This is generally done by living the
right way and practicing your meditation. When you live a
Zen lifestyle, you can achieve happiness and contentment.

<strong>1) Importance</strong>

We rush, day to day, to do the things that need to be
done. Little Johnny needs to get to soccer practice, Susan
needs to get to dance, the report needs to be on your
boss’ desk by 10 a.m., you need to make lunches, get
dinner, etc. We get to the point in which we are extremely
burned out and are ready to pull someone’s hair out. This
type of stress can age you quickly. 

One of the first things you should do is figure out what
is important in your life. What do you want to be doing
with your time? Don’t just think about it; write it down.
Write down four to five things that you want to accomplish
with your life, as well as four to five things you want to
get done at your job. Also, put down four to five people
with whom you truly want to spend time. This should give
you an idea of what is really important to you.

Next, figure out if you truly need all the commitments you
have going. Do your children really need to have three
after-school activities per day? Do you need to take on
more things when you’re already very busy? You need to
prioritize your life by choosing the things that are
really necessary in your life. Instead of doing eight
things a day, do three. Take the things out of your life
that you don’t need to do so that you can focus more on
the things that you do need to do.

<strong>2) Slow Down</strong>

One of the best ways to live a <strong><a href="http://www.whatislistening.com/blog" target="_blank">Zen lifestyle</a></strong> is to “stop
and smell the roses.” Before I had children, I rushed
through my everyday tasks and landed in a heap on the
couch shortly before 11 p.m. Then I had children and truly
learned the meaning of the word “multi-tasking.” One day
my three-year-old stopped me and pointed out a little
caterpillar on the road. I’d almost stepped on it! I was
moving so fast to get to my destination that I forgot to
look around at where I was going.

Don’t we all rush around without noticing our
surroundings? We take for granted the area in which we
live. Whether you’re in the city or in the country, there
is always something to see. Try slowing down when you
brush your teeth, or when you’re cooking supper. When you
take things at a slower pace, you can find true enjoyment
in every task.

<strong>3. One Thing at a Time</strong>

As I said, once I had children, “Multi-task” became my
middle name. I was able to cook supper, prepare my
husband’s lunch, make the morning coffee, and watch the
kids—all at the same time. Did I enjoy it? Absolutely not.

There was no part of those tasks that was enjoyable to me,
and I got to the point that I hated doing it. Instead of
multitasking, try “single-tasking. Do one thing at a time
and do it well. When you’re making your sandwich for the
next day, make an amazing sandwich. Add pickles and other
vegetables and make it a truly amazing sandwich. Not only
will you slow down, but you will have a wonderful sandwich
to enjoy the next day.

<strong>4. Solitude</strong>

A big part of the <strong><a href="http://www.whatislistening.com/blog" target="_blank">Zen lifestyle</a></strong> involves learning how to
live with solitude. Some people are scared of the quiet
and being alone, but there is nothing to be scared of. The
quiet and solitude can give you time to meditate about
your day and about your life. Even if you choose to sit
back and quietly enjoy a book, the silence gives your
brain time to work through everything that has occurred
since the last moments you had in silence.

Living a Zen lifestyle is about minimizing the things you
don’t need and maximizing the things that are important.
In doing this, you can achieve peacefulness and a sense of

<p>Lapses encourage disturbances to get in the way and stall progress. If ones wishes to proceed on their road to success, it is imperative they learn how to concentrate. Here, we show you some easy to learn exercises that are easy to implement.</p>
<p><strong>1) Silence or Noise:</strong></p>
<p>Most people cannot concentrate when it is too noisy, but others work better with music or others in the midst of a crowded room.</p>
<p>If you are not aware as yet what best suits you, then try out the different environments. How? Take a notepad and a pencil or pen with you and try and write down a letter in all the three circumstances in a set amount of time. Ten minutes.</p>
<p>That is all you will need to determine where your source of concentration lies. How? Check not only for length but also for development as that is more important.</p>
<p><strong>2) Focal Point:</strong></p>
<p>Every morning, before you leave for work or on the way, stare at any object for ten minutes. You can do this while in the toilet, car or bus. You will find this difficult, but whatever happens, do not move your gaze away.</p>
<p>Hold it. Wait. And then, as the minutes pass you will find yourself deeply meditating about things that happened to you yesterday or challenges you have to face in a few minutes.</p>
<p>Congratulations. You have just conquered the <a href="http://www.e-bazi.com" target="_blank"><strong>art of meditation</strong></a>.</p>
<p><strong>3) Deep Breathing:</strong></p>
<p>In the beginning, you can do this while staring at the object from tip number two, but if you wish to move towards real concentration, do this separetly. Sit down on the floor. If its hard, place a cushion. Close your eyes.</p>
<p>Breathe. Count the number of inhales. When you have reached 100, start counting backwards but this time count the exhales.</p>
<p>Mastering this will take you a while, but once you do move on to other kinds of mathemathical calculations such as naming the months of the year from December backwards or alphabetically. After that, make up exercises as you like.</p>
<p><strong>4) Movement:</strong></p>
<p>Focus on an animal: cat, dog or even ant or bird. Follow their every movement as if they exist in a vaccumm. Study every tiny spot on their body. The point of this is to learn how to diversify your concentration in such a way that movement does not deter you from your goal.</p>
<p>Practice the above four tips and like magic, you will start enjoying life to its fullest because you will be able to focus on the things you want to focus on and disregard those that disrupt.</p>
<p>Practive the above tips daily and you will be that much more closer to achieving your dreams and goals.</p>

<p>The next room you go to will be filled with Angels and Angels will be at your side with every step you take today. The Angels are with us and are eager to help us.</p>
<p>Angels are truly universal. The Pew Foundation reported that 72% of Americans believe in Angels. This is a much higher percentage than Americans who believe in any world religion, because Angels are fundamental to most of the world&#8217;s major religions.</p>
<p>We find them in Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Mormonism and many other spiritual traditions.</p>
<p>St. Augustine, an authority on Angels, said, &#8220;Make friends with Angels.&#8221; He recommended that we make personal relationships with Angels and that we let our relationships with them deepen &#8211; much as we would with any important, intimate relationship.</p>
<p>Asking an Angel for help is one of our most powerful spiritual practices. We can ask the Angels for immediate help at any time and in any place. Here are some techniques that will help you:</p>
<p><strong>1) Ask for help &#8211; Angels offer us help 24/7. </strong></p>
<p>The more receptive we are, the more help they can give us. If you diminish your receptivity you limit the Angels ability to help you. Create your own invocations, or prayers, that specifically call for the help you need.</p>
<p>Realize that when you call upon an Angel, what really happens is that you open yourself into greater receptivity to their assistance. (See the Angel Messages at www.AskAnAngel.org for examples of invocations.)</p>
<p>When asking for help, it&#8217;s important to realize yourself as fully worthy of Angelic assistance. Angels work with everyone regardless of personal histories and beliefs.</p>
<p>Angels are infinite and omnipresent &#8211; your request does not diminish them in anyway nor does it affect their ability to help the rest of us at the same time. They exist beyond our experience of time and space and respond to everyone with complete unconditional love.<br />
<strong><br />
2) Connect with your inner divine child as you call upon the Angels and ask for help. </strong></p>
<p>Your inner divine child is whole, innocent and true and recognizes Angels as trustworthy gifts of Creator. This will help create openness, receptivity, excitement, eagerness and wonder as you prepare to receive the gift your Angels have prepared for you.</p>
<p><strong>3) Hand everything over to the Angels when you ask for their help: every issue, problem, worry and fear as well as every good intention and positive outcome you imagine as the result of your request. </strong></p>
<p>Release all expectations of how your request will be answered.<br />
<strong><br />
4) Express Appreciation and Gratitude &#8211; Find and express genuine appreciation and gratitude for things exactly as they are. </strong></p>
<p>If you are struggling with this, ask the Angels to help you to find the love that is present in whatever difficulty you are facing. Have patience with this and let go of any expectation of how this love may be revealed to you.</p>
<p><strong>5) Know that it is done &#8211; Every request is answered and help is always given. </strong></p>
<p>If you fear that your request will not be answered, then also ask for help in understanding.</p>
<p>Trust that you will see the love in every answered prayer. You are known completely and loved unconditionally by the Angels and nothing that will serve you is ever withheld from you.</p>
<p><strong>6) Act quickly on the guidance you receive. </strong></p>
<p>Accept the opportunity and act upon it immediately. Angelic help is infinite and unlimited &#8211; you can not use it up or run out of it. You cannot ask for &#8220;too much&#8221; and the Angels are joyously happy to give to you without limit. The faster you act, the faster you receive more assistance!</p>
<p><strong>7) Celebrate yourself exactly as you are in the moment. </strong></p>
<p>Leave any critical judgments or negative feelings about yourself, your life, or others in the hands of the Angels for healing.</p>
<p>Even if it is just for a few moments, let go of everything that is not of love for yourself and everything around you. In this moment of surrender much more can done for you by the Angels than you can accomplish on your own.</p>
<p>Thank yourself and the Angels for deepening the relationship between you.</p>
